Porsche Officially Launches New Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid in Korea

[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Porsche Korea announced on the 23rd the official domestic launch of the new Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid, the most powerful Panamera model.

Following the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid introduced last year, Porsche Korea is systematically expanding its E-performance strategy by launching the new Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid.

The new Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid, with a maximum output of 700 horsepower (PS) and a peak torque of 88.8 kg·m, is the most powerful top-tier model in the Panamera hybrid lineup, combining a 4-liter V8 biturbo engine producing 582 horsepower (PS) and an electric motor generating 136 horsepower (PS).

The electric motor integrated into the 8-speed dual-clutch transmission (PDK) is the core of the drive architecture, delivering a maximum torque of 40.8 kg·m. This combination with the combustion engine provides outstanding driving performance. Equipped with the Sport Chrono Package as standard, the new Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds, with a top speed increased by 5 km/h to 315 km/h.

Additionally, with improvements to the battery cells, the high-voltage battery capacity has increased from 14.1 kWh to 17.9 kWh, optimizing the driving modes for efficient energy use. The driving range possible using only the electric motor in the new Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is 34 km.

Options include an exclusive design tail light module, three new wheel designs in 20- and 21-inch sizes, and two new exterior colors: Cherry Metallic and Truffle Brown Metallic.

Meanwhile, Porsche Communication Management includes new digital features and services such as Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Connect services.

The new Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is available in two models: 4-seater and 5-seater, with a sales price of 304.9 million KRW including VAT.
