[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] Woori Bank announced on the 16th that it will expand the recruitment of high school graduate talents starting from the second half of 2022.
Woori Bank plans to establish a process to receive recommendations of outstanding talents from specialized high schools nationwide and give preference to applicants who are diligent in their school life. In addition, along with expanding the recruitment of high school graduate talents, the bank will provide programs to nurture them as core talents. Woori Bank is preparing support for tuition fees for employment before further education, acquisition of financial certifications, and training to strengthen digital capabilities.
The policy to expand recruitment of high school graduate talents is known to reflect the will of Woori Bank President Lee Won-duk. On the 2nd, President Lee attended the ‘2022 Korea High School Graduate Talent Recruitment Expo’ held at KINTEX in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, and encouraged students who visited the Woori Bank booth.
A Woori Bank official stated, “In the fierce competition where industry boundaries are breaking down, we plan to actively recruit high school graduate talents with potential to leap forward as a customer-centered financial platform company.”
