[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] The Jeonnam Education Grand Transition Preparation Committee announced that on the 16th at 11 a.m., it held an 'Educational Policy Exchange Agreement Ceremony for Nurturing Talent in Preparation for Future Education' with Gwangju National University of Education at the Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education Sports Education Center.


The agreement ceremony was attended by key figures including Chairman Kwak Jong-wol and Gwangju National University of Education President Choi Do-sung, where they proposed and mutually shared educational policy exchange and cooperation projects.


Through the agreement, both institutions agreed to join forces for the joint nurturing of local talent and strengthening the educational and research capabilities of elementary school teachers. They also decided to activate educational and academic exchange activities, enhance cooperation in curriculum operation, and jointly develop extracurricular activity programs.


Gwangju National University of Education proposed six ongoing projects such as the 'Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education High School-University Linkage Project' and ten new projects including 'Joint Cooperation for Field-tailored Future Teacher Training' to the preparation committee.


The main contents include projects for nurturing future education teachers such as field- and region-tailored elementary teacher training, teacher training and retraining, and activation of subject research groups, as well as projects to strengthen school educational capacity such as providing university admission information for students and parents, AI convergence education, writing, and experiential learning programs.


Chairman Kwak Jong-wol stated, "To prepare for future education, teacher retraining courses such as training through an AI graduate school are essential," and added, "We will actively cooperate with Gwangju National University of Education to nurture future education talent."
