[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwanju] Cheil Health Science announced on the 16th that it has launched 'Tylenol Tablets 500mg,' a single-ingredient acetaminophen antipyretic analgesic.

Tylenol Tablets 500mg is an antipyretic analgesic with the same ingredient as Tylenol, which quickly relieves pain caused by fever and pain from colds, headaches, neuralgia, toothaches, and muscle pain.

Tylenol Tablets is a rapid-release formulation in which the acetaminophen ingredient is quickly released after ingestion, showing effects within 15 minutes, making it suitable as a household medicine for sudden headaches or fever.

Mok Seonjae, Marketing PM at Cheil Health Science, said, "It can be used as a household medicine that helps with fever and pain, expanding consumers' choices," and added, "The launch of Tylenol Tablets is also expected to greatly help resolve the imbalance in pharmaceutical supply and demand."

Tylenol Tablets 500mg can be purchased at pharmacies nationwide. Children aged 12 and over and adults can take 1 to 2 tablets per dose, 3 to 4 times a day, with a maximum daily dose of 4000mg (8 tablets) if necessary.
