[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Jeongpil] Jeju Fire Station announced on the 15th that it conducted a joint training exercise with the self-defense fire brigade on the 12th at three important wooden cultural heritage sites in the jurisdiction, including Gwandukjeong, to ensure the safety of cultural properties.
The main contents included ▲fire truck access and selection of department locations ▲fire suppression ▲understanding the structure and characteristics of wooden cultural heritage ▲initial firefighting training by the self-defense fire brigade and fire safety education.
A fire official stated, “We will do our best to prevent the loss of precious cultural properties due to fire by strengthening fire prevention and management systems for cultural heritage.”
