On the 11th, SK Magic announced the launch of 'ECO hue,' a mattress and frame rental and care service, signaling its full-scale entry into the mattress market.

SK Magic recently declared its transition to a Home Life Curation Company. With health, convenience, and eco-friendliness as core values, the company aims to discover new business models such as mattress rental and care services to secure sustainable growth engines while strengthening its competitiveness in the rental market.

According to the Korea Sleep Industry Association, the domestic sleep-related market size, which was around 480 billion KRW in 2011, grew to the 3 trillion KRW range last year. Among this, the mattress market size reached 1.8 trillion KRW and is expected to grow to 2 trillion KRW this year. Especially due to the impact of COVID-19, interest in hygiene and sleep quality continues to rise, and the market expects demand for mattress rental and care services to expand further.

The newly introduced ECO hue mattress applies eco-friendly materials. Its ergonomic design provides a healthy and comfortable sleeping environment. The mattress features an ‘independent spring 7-zone’ design, which arranges three types of springs?soft, medium, and hard?segmented according to body structure, offering more comfortable and deeper sleep.

The mattress springs are tightly wrapped in a ‘4-sided foam case,’ maintaining firmness like a new product without sagging even after long-term use. The mattress’s front and back sides apply toppers of different firmness?medium and hard?allowing users to choose according to their preference.

It has obtained ‘SGS certification,’ an international certification for harmful substances, passing tests for a total of 223 harmful substances including heavy metals such as lead, mercury, cadmium, and radon, the highest number domestically. It also uses the non-toxic eco-friendly material ‘Ozone Free Foam.’

SK Magic provides professional on-site management services such as mattress cleaning and sterilization, along with a安心 OK service every four months.
