[Asia Economy Reporter No Woo-rae] ○…‘Hulk’ Bryson DeChambeau (USA) showcased a ‘one-arm swing’ technique.

On the 27th (Korean time), he posted a video on his social media showing him swinging a driver with only his right hand while his left wrist was wrapped in a bandage. This swing training came just two weeks after surgery on his left wrist. The ball DeChambeau hit flew so fast it disappeared from sight instantly, and after the swing, he completed a perfect club rotation and shrugged his shoulders. DeChambeau had endured pain and forced himself to compete after injuring his left wrist in February.

However, he was cut off in both the Valero Texas Open and the Masters on the PGA Tour. Eventually, he underwent surgery on the 13th and immediately began rehabilitation. It seems unlikely he will participate in the second major of the season, the PGA Championship, scheduled to open next month. Instead, he is training with the goal of the major US Open, which starts on June 16. DeChambeau has won a total of 8 PGA Tour titles, including the 2020 US Open victory.
