[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Mr. A, who was playing golf at a golf course in Suncheon City, Jeollanam-do, fell into a 3-meter-deep water hazard.


According to the police on the 27th, a report was received around 8:51 a.m. that Mr. A, who was playing golf at a golf course in Suncheon City, had fallen into a water hazard.


Immediately after the accident, the 119 rescue team rushed to the scene and attempted to rescue Mr. A, but he was found in cardiac arrest and was transported to the hospital, where he was ultimately pronounced dead.


It is known that Mr. A went into the pond to retrieve a ball that had fallen in while playing golf with colleagues and met with the accident.


The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident by questioning witnesses and golf course officials.
