Jeju Fire Station Conducts Safety Consulting in Preparation for Buddha's Birthday

[Jeju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Jeongpil] Jeju Fire Station (Chief Ko Jae-woo) announced that on the 27th, it conducted an on-site safety consultation by the fire station chief in preparation for the upcoming 'Buddha's Birthday' event.

This safety consultation was carried out targeting the traditional temples in the jurisdiction, Gwaneumsa and Cheonwangsa, with detailed activities including interviews with related personnel and guidance on fire prevention safety management when using lanterns.

Chief Ko Jae-woo said, "It is expected that a large crowd will gather for the Buddha's Birthday event due to the lifting of social distancing," and added, "We ask the temple officials to be thorough in fire prevention."

Meanwhile, Jeju Fire Station has been implementing fire prevention measures from the 18th of last month until the 9th of next month to ensure a safe 'Buddha's Birthday' event.
