[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 27th that it will offer for sale 2,065 land parcels (5,755,000㎡), 20,505 housing units, and 137 commercial spaces within complexes by the end of the year.
The land parcels will be supplied with 1,059 parcels (2,445,000㎡) in the metropolitan area and 1,006 parcels (3,310,000㎡) in provincial areas. Major supply districts include △ Hwaseong Dongtan 2 with 49 parcels (285,000㎡) △ Incheon Yeongjong with 7 parcels (212,000㎡) △ Paju Unjeong 3 with 313 parcels (200,000㎡) △ Sacheon Aviation National Industrial Complex with 130 parcels (567,000㎡), and Jinju Aviation National Industrial Complex with 67 parcels (483,000㎡).
For housing, recruitment of residents will be conducted for 11,124 units in 15 districts (18 blocks) in the metropolitan area and 9,381 units in 11 districts (14 blocks) in provincial areas. In the metropolitan area, supply includes △ Yangju Okjeong (public sale, 1,409 units) △ Pyeongtaek Godeok (Newlywed Hope Town, 778 units) △ Bucheon Wonjong (10-year public rental, 7 units), and in provincial areas, △ Chungnam Provincial Government Relocation City (public sale, 1,926 units) △ Ulsan Daun 2 (Newlywed Hope Town, 835 units) △ Busan Munhyeon (5-year public rental, 37 units), among others.
Within complexes, 116 commercial spaces in the metropolitan area and 21 in provincial areas are awaiting tenants. In particular, commercial spaces will be supplied in complexes with abundant resident demand such as Seoul Suseo KTX (Newlywed Hope Town), Wirye (public sale), and Gwacheon Knowledge Information Town (Newlywed Hope Town).
