[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] Samsung Electro-Mechanics announced on the 27th that its first-quarter consolidated operating profit reached 410.548 billion KRW, a 15.1% increase compared to the same period last year. Sales during the same period rose 14.2% to 2.616766 trillion KRW. Net profit for the period was preliminarily estimated at 321.852 billion KRW, a 32.6% increase.
