[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol drew a line on the possibility of the passage of the 'Complete Prosecution Control' bill, saying, "The party will handle it on its own."

On the morning of the 27th, President-elect Yoon met with reporters on his way to the office of the Presidential Transition Committee in Tongui-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, and responded this way to a question about the possibility of the bill passing the plenary session of the National Assembly that day.

President-elect Yoon said, "The transition committee will make various announcements today, so please pay more attention to those."

Until now, President-elect Yoon had refrained from expressing his position regarding 'Complete Prosecution Control,' and this time as well, he did not make any direct remarks.

Meanwhile, the Democratic Party of Korea reportedly set a plan to hold a plenary session of the National Assembly that day to process the 'Complete Prosecution Control' bill. In response, the People Power Party plans to use filibusters (legal obstruction of parliamentary proceedings through unlimited debate) and other means to block the bill's passage.
