[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Young-won] From today, it is possible to find COVID-19 outpatient treatment centers through portal site searches.

On the 27th, the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters announced that if symptoms of home-treated patients appear or worsen, nearby hospitals and clinics capable of face-to-face treatment and prescriptions can be found via portal searches.

This information is available on Naver, Kakao, T map, and others. By entering 'Oerae Jillyo Center' (Outpatient Treatment Center) in the search bar on PC, mobile, or applications (apps), the centers are displayed on the map.

Information on outpatient treatment centers can also be confirmed through the COVID-19 website and guidance documents or text messages received upon confirmation of infection.

As of the 27th, there are 6,368 COVID-19 outpatient treatment centers operating nationwide, including 884 hospital-level centers and 5,484 clinic-level centers.

Among these, 4,934 centers operate simultaneously as respiratory specialty clinics and designated respiratory treatment medical institutions, allowing patients to receive COVID-19 diagnosis, testing, treatment, and prescriptions in a connected manner.
