Gochang Cultural Tourism Foundation Promotes 'Culture and Arts Creation Support Project'

[Gochang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] The Jeonbuk Gochang Culture and Tourism Foundation announced on the 27th that it will promote the ‘2022 Culture and Arts Creation Support Project’ to revitalize the creative activities of local artists and cultural arts organizations.

This project is divided into two areas: support for rental fees of creative spaces and support for the activation of creative spaces.

Support for artists' rental fees is available to artists and art organizations who have completed ‘Proof of Artistic Activity’ and have an address in the county as of the announcement date (25th), and support for the activation of creative spaces is available to organizations that own creative spaces within Gochang-gun.

Applications for the project can be submitted by downloading the support form from the foundation’s website notice board and submitting it from the 9th to the 10th of next month.

A foundation official said, “We will continue to communicate so that cultural projects desired in the local field can be established and promoted,” and added, “We hope for much interest and support from local artists and organizations for this support project.”

Meanwhile, the Gochang Culture and Tourism Foundation plans to prepare cultural community and youth culture support projects to expand the base of culture in daily life.
