[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] CJ Logistics will offer up to a 30% discount on express service fees to expand exports for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Additionally, it plans to support SMEs' overseas expansion by utilizing 153 global logistics hubs worldwide.
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups will sign a business agreement with CJ Logistics on the morning of the 27th at CJ Logistics' 'TES Innovation Center' located in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province. This agreement is the 11th under the 'Caring Companies 2.0' initiative, aimed at supporting domestic SMEs' entry into the global market.
The main points of the agreement are as follows. First, logistics services such as discounted logistics costs and export customs clearance support will be preferentially provided to exporting SMEs.
CJ Logistics has decided to offer express service fees discounted from a basic 15% up to a maximum of 30% for exporting SMEs.
In addition, it will provide the 'Automated Support Service for Simplified Export Declaration via List Clearance' free of charge to help domestic SMEs complete complex export declarations quickly and easily.
By leveraging CJ Logistics' 153 overseas logistics infrastructures worldwide, it will support storage fees, local logistics cost discounts, customs clearance, and import declarations.
Furthermore, practical training on maritime and air export-import logistics and the latest trends will be provided to SME practitioners. In addition to basic courses such as export-import customs and document preparation methods, CJ Logistics will share country-specific logistics know-how and experience.
