[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] The Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development held a meeting with the executives of the National BizCool Teachers Association on the 26th to discuss plans for nurturing future entrepreneurial talent.
This meeting was organized to share achievements from operating youth BizCool programs, gather opinions to revitalize youth entrepreneurship education, and establish directions for improving this year's projects.
Since 2002, the "Youth BizCool Support Project" has supported various entrepreneurship experience education such as startup clubs and startup camps, fostering innovative and challenge-driven convergent creative talents.
The National BizCool Teachers Association announced plans to encourage teachers and students in elementary, middle, and high schools to proactively form an entrepreneurial culture through diverse youth BizCool programs.
In particular, they stated efforts to solidify systematic entrepreneurship education within the regular curriculum and expand programs that allow experiencing entrepreneurship through startup clubs to prepare the MZ generation for entrepreneurship.
Kim Yong-moon, President of the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development, said, "It has played a significant role in instilling entrepreneurial spirit and fostering a spirit of challenge among youth, the future leaders of entrepreneurship," adding, "The Institute will also do its part to lay the foundation of entrepreneurial culture for youth."
