According to Electron Land, air conditioner sales from the 1st to the 24th of this month increased by 24% compared to the same period last year. This is 49% higher compared to 2020.

Sales of fans and circulators also increased by 40% during the same period. It is analyzed that the demand for cooling appliances has increased due to the early arrival of heat and the forecast of a heatwave this summer.

An Electron Land official said, “As the intense heat begins, there is a concern that air conditioner installation and A/S may be delayed, so more consumers are purchasing air conditioners in advance during spring,” adding, “Since a hot summer is forecasted this year, demand for cooling appliances is expected to continue steadily.”
