[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Lotte Mart announced on the 27th that it will fully cover the cost of the online multidimensional personality test (MMPI) for all employees in celebration of Labor Day. The MMPI is a self-report personality test that multidimensionally evaluates the personality, emotions, and adaptation levels of the respondent.
This psychological care program for employees includes not only regular full-time employees but also contract workers. Among the employees who take the MMPI test, 100 will be separately selected to receive more than three in-depth psychological counseling sessions at the Rejoice Psychological Counseling Center, all fully covered by the company. If necessary, the test and in-depth counseling will also be provided for the employees' children and spouses.
To alleviate employees' psychological burden regarding the disclosure of whether they receive counseling, the application for the MMPI test and the overall counseling process will be managed by the international relief and development NGO Hope Friends under World Vision. World Vision operates the Rejoice Psychological Counseling Center together with Lotte Mart at the Zetaflex Jamsil branch and Lotte Mall Suji branch, providing professional psychological counseling services to employees and customers.
A Lotte Mart official stated, "Since we operate the Rejoice Psychological Counseling Center, we judged that we need to pay attention to the psychological and emotional care of employees working hard on-site. We plan to continuously support this so that it can be connected to in-depth psychological counseling rather than being a one-time event."
