Gyeongsang National University Selected for 'Career Experience Bus Project' for 2 Consecutive Years

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Gyeongsang National University has been selected for the second consecutive year in the Ministry of Education's career experience gap reduction program, the '2022 Career Experience Bus Project.' It is the only university chosen.

The Admissions Office of Gyeongsang National University was selected as the operating institution for the Gyeongsang region and will receive project funding of 120 million KRW.

Since 2017, the Admissions Office of Gyeongsang National University has continuously contributed to education donation and local community service by being selected for four consecutive years as an operating institution for university career exploration camps and as a representative institution for region-specific career experience programs for four consecutive years, helping to reduce career experience gaps.

Lee Kwang-ho, Director of Admissions at Gyeongsang National University, explained, "The Admissions Office has consistently worked to support career exploration and experience for students from information-disadvantaged elementary, middle, high schools, and special schools, and this year we were selected for the second consecutive year."

As a result of fierce competition among institutions and universities, Gyeongsang National University was the only university selected as an operating institution for the Career Experience Bus.

Han Dong-yeop, Deputy Director of Admissions, said, "Last year, while operating the Career Experience Bus, we conducted over 460 online and offline career experience programs targeting 60 schools, with more than 10,000 students participating. This achievement was recognized, making us the only university selected for two consecutive years."

The 2022 Career Experience Bus operating institutions by region are: Youth Education Social Cooperative 'Seed Corp' for the Seoul metropolitan area, M Corporation for the Gangwon and Chungcheong regions, and Dreaming World Co., Ltd. for the Jeolla and Jeju regions.
