[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] NH Investment & Securities announced on the 26th that it has opened the 18th term of the premium education program for the new middle-aged generation, ‘100-Year Life University.’
100-Year Life University is a specialized education program jointly developed by NH Investment & Securities’ 100-Year Life Research Institute, the top research institution in lifetime asset management and retirement planning, and Seoul National University’s Center for Aging and Retirement Planning Support, targeting VIP clients around the time of retirement.
The 18th term will be conducted both online and offline in accordance with the relaxed social distancing policies, and will be held at a new venue, the ‘Magnolia Hall’ in the Hoam Faculty House at Seoul National University. Popular lectures from the 17th term, such as Professor Kim Ik-su of Korea University’s ‘Economies of China and Korea’ and Professor Kim In-chul of Seoul National University’s Psychology Department’s ‘Seniors Seeking Happiness,’ have been reorganized to provide an opportunity to reflect on happiness in the latter half of life.
In particular, online attendance via live streaming on-site, introduced last year due to COVID-19, attracted about 200 applicants, doubling the number from the 17th term. Applications came from various regions outside the metropolitan area, confirming the high demand for this high-quality education program.
Meanwhile, the graduation ceremony for the 18th term of 100-Year Life University will be held on June 20th, and classes will be conducted every Monday evening from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM for a total of eight weeks in lecture rooms at Seoul National University. Both online and offline attendees will be awarded certificates of completion under the same criteria.
