[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Blockchain company Galaxia Metaverse announced on the 26th that it has signed a business agreement with Kaeblock to expand its non-fungible token (NFT) and blockchain business.
Kaeblock is an entertainment-based IT platform company founded by personnel who participated in various blockchain projects. It possesses expertise related to NFT and decentralized finance (Defi) platform development, wallet and multisig (multi-signature) solution development, among others.
Galaxia Metaverse will exchange intellectual property (IP) between platforms with Kaeblock. They will jointly promote projects such as issuing various PFP NFTs (Picture For Profile NFTs) and expanding the NFT business in the form of membership services. PFP NFTs refer to digital images in the form of profiles for social media services and communities.
A company official explained, "PFP NFTs can well reflect the individuality of users, including artists," and added, "They are emerging as a new trend." He continued, "PFP NFTs issued by Kaeblock will be sold on MetaGalaxia," and said, "They will satisfy various user demands."
