[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Hannam University announced on the 26th that Professor Kim Won-gyu of the Department of Law at the university (photo) has been elected as the Chairman of the Korean Law Association.
According to the university, Professor Kim was recently elected as Chairman at the Korean Law Association's extraordinary general meeting and began his duties after receiving approval from the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, the competent authority.
The Korean Law Association has about 700 members, including legal researchers and legal practitioners.
Founded in 1997, the association holds academic conferences four times a year and publishes the academic journal "Legal Studies" (registered with the Korea Research Foundation, etc.) four times annually.
