[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] The stock prices of related companies have been rising for two consecutive days amid expectations of the domestic accommodation platform company Yanolja's listing on the US Nasdaq market.
As of 10:02 AM on the 26th, SBI Investment is trading at 1,845 KRW, up 10.48%. It rose to 1,930 KRW in early trading. Ajou IB Investment is trading at 4,075 KRW, up 4.76%, reaching 4,175 KRW in early trading. SBI Investment and Ajou IB Investment closed up 10.32% and 3.73%, respectively, the previous day.
Both companies are investors in Yanolja.
According to the investment banking (IB) industry, Yanolja is aiming for a Nasdaq listing in the US in the second half of the year. The lead underwriters are Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley.
