Ssopee Unveils 'Save Us Edition' with Recyclable Paper Packaging

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] LG Unicharm announced on the 26th that it has launched the ‘Sofy Nature’s Color Unbleached Sanitary Pad_Save Us Edition,’ which is packaged in recyclable paper.

The new product uses a 100% organic cotton cover that touches the skin and an unbleached sheet without chemical bleaching processes inside the pad, making it gentle on sensitive skin and reducing environmental impact from the manufacturing process. The plastic outer packaging has been completely eliminated and replaced with recyclable paper packaging. In particular, the large and super-long size products feature Korea’s only etiquette tab, which simplifies sanitary pad disposal and reduces waste, enhancing environmental friendliness.

LG Unicharm, certified for Consumer-Centered Management (CCM), stated, “The Sofy Nature’s Color Unbleached Sanitary Pad embodies Sofy’s brand philosophy of creating products that women can use with confidence, and we are actively practicing ESG management.
