"Nation's First Ultra-Cooling Ice Room" K2 Launches 'Code10' Icewear

Code10 Icewear is a cooling lifestyle wear designed with a simple design for everyday use, unlike existing cooling products that focused on sports and outdoor activities. By applying ultra-cooling ice nylon yarn, it provides upgraded coolness and comfort compared to existing cooling products with immediate and permanent cooling functionality.

The ultra-cooling ice nylon yarn applied to Code10 is a functional new material that K2 introduced for the first time in Korea in cooling clothing. It is characterized by excellent temperature and humidity control capabilities, providing outstanding cooling performance and comfort. In particular, the moisture absorption rate of the yarn, which contains special substances that absorb moisture from the air, is nearly twice as high as that of conventional nylon yarn, continuously offering a cooler and superior cooling effect even during hot summer temperatures. Additionally, due to its excellent moisture regulation function, unlike regular cotton fabric that becomes damp when sweating heavily, the moisture content is less than 50% compared to cotton, allowing for a comfortable feeling.

Code10, released as polo shirts and slacks, is designed for everyday wear, unlike existing cooling clothing that focused on sports and outdoor activities. Lee Yangyeop, Director of Product Planning at K2, said, "With the forecast of a heatwave this summer, demand for cooling clothing during the summer season is expected to increase."
