LG Electronics Showcases Next-Generation Smart Education Solutions at Education Expo

Participation in the Korea Education Expo at COEX from the 26th to the 28th

The LG Electronics booth at the 19th Korea Education Expo. LG Electronics plans to showcase products optimized for the next-generation smart education environment at this expo.

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] LG Electronics announced on the 26th that it will participate in the ‘19th Korea Education Expo’ held for three days until the 28th at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul, showcasing products optimized for the next-generation smart education environment.

LG Electronics has set up an exhibition space where visitors can directly experience educational solutions optimized for various school spaces such as smart classrooms, teachers' offices, small meeting rooms, and special activity areas.

Through LG CLOi robot solutions optimized for non-face-to-face services, the company demonstrates how robots are being utilized in various ways in the education sector. The LG CLOi Guidebot moves around the booth to introduce visitors to information about the booth, products, and events. This robot can also be used as educational material related to software education in schools.

Additionally, two types of LG CLOi Servebots (drawer-type and shelf-type) demonstrate transporting various educational supplies. Since they operate based on autonomous driving and obstacle avoidance technology, they can quickly and safely deliver teaching aids and practice tools even in schools with many students.

LG Electronics also created various spaces within schools using the all-in-one lifestyle screen LG One:Quick. LG One:Quick is a product that consolidates various solutions needed by customers in educational institutions such as schools or academies, or at home. It features a 4K (3840x2160) UHD resolution touchscreen with built-in speakers and annotation functions.

Visitors can also experience the LG Whalebook equipped with Naver’s education platform Whale Space, and the LG Chromebook, an educational laptop running Google’s Chrome OS. LG Electronics’ educational laptops support a convenient cloud-based user environment and provide optimal non-face-to-face solutions with HD-quality front and rear cameras and built-in microphones.
