Fire in Bukhansan Goyang-si Area... Extinguished After 1 Hour 20 Minutes

[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Kyung-jun] A wildfire broke out on the 25th in the area around Bukhansan Mountain in Deogyang-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi Province.

The fire started at around 2:22 PM that day. The forestry authorities deployed two firefighting helicopters and 20 personnel, extinguishing the fire in about 1 hour and 20 minutes. No casualties were reported.

The authorities are investigating the cause of the wildfire and the exact extent of the damage.
