[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Kim Dong-hwan, a preliminary candidate for Jeonnam Superintendent of Education, announced on the 25th a pledge to operate administrative task hub schools.

Candidate Kim Dong-hwan said, "An administrative task hub school refers to a school that significantly expands administrative staff by reallocating personnel from various small schools to collectively handle administrative tasks for nearby small schools."

He continued, "Administrative tasks will be carried out at the administrative task hub schools, and small schools will no longer process official documents like branch schools currently do. Not only will teaching administration be centralized, but various financial tasks of the administrative office, meal service hubs, and facility management will also be focused on the hubs, allowing small schools to focus solely on their core educational activities."

He added, "Since small schools fundamentally have a small number of staff, it is difficult to see effects even if efforts are made to reduce teachers' administrative duties. To be effective, administrative tasks in small schools must be completely eliminated."
