[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Jang Seok-woong, a preliminary candidate for Jeonnam Superintendent of Education, stated on the 25th, "We will create schools where both students and parents can feel safe, allowing everyone to learn healthily and happily."

On this day, preliminary candidate Jang Seok-woong proposed raising the school meal unit price to fully implement 5 No's (GMO, radiation, pesticides, additives, antibiotics) meals and presented the pledge of "Our Children's Village Care Near Their Homes."

Preliminary candidate Jang Seok-woong said, "We plan to create care facilities in villages close to homes to build a 'care ecosystem' where all village residents take care of the children."

He continued, "To eliminate parental burdens even for private kindergartens, we will fully expand free education and systematically support the entire life cycle of students with disabilities in terms of 'learning-living-career.' We will newly support vouchers for kindergarteners and elementary school students preparing for admission, and plan to expand the operation of 'Edu Bus,' 'Edu Taxi,' and 'Edu Boat' wherever students move."

He added, "We will conduct a clean superintendent election that does not blame anyone but creates hope for Jeonnam education solely through policy alternatives. Moving forward, we will listen to voices from the field and create new education policies together with the residents of Jeonnam."
