Candidate Moon Yang-o emphasized, “By building the Gwangyang Art Hall equipped with a large indoor theater, a small theater, an exhibition hall, an outdoor performance hall, and resting areas, we can support the creative activities of local cultural artists and thereby further enhance the quality of life for our citizens.”

According to candidate Moon Yang-o, through the construction of the Gwangyang Art Hall, there will be a dedicated space that local cultural artists and Gwangyang citizens can freely use, including the regular performances of the existing Gwangyang Municipal Gugak Orchestra, continuous hosting of performances and events by local cultural artists, promotion of the establishment of a new Gwangyang Municipal Symphony Orchestra, continuous operation of experiential programs, support for youth (adolescent) performance activities, and provision of exhibitions and open resting spaces.

Candidate Moon Yang-o expressed confidence, saying, “Through the construction of the Gwangyang Art Hall, performances, exhibitions, and events in various cultural and artistic genres will provide rest to citizens tired from COVID-19 and daily life, and it will also serve as an opportunity to simultaneously foster tourism and culture in our city, becoming a new urban symbol and landmark in the city center.”
