Professor Park Young-tae of Dong-Eui University Trade Department Hosts Korean International Commerce Association Spring Conference

Participants of the '2022 Spring Academic Conference of the Korean International Trade Association' are taking a group commemorative photo.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Doo-yeol] Professor Park Young-tae, majoring in Trade at Dong-Eui University, held the '2022 Korea International Commerce Association Spring Academic Conference' on the 22nd at Park Hyatt Busan.

The academic conference was held under the theme of 'ESG Management and Global Smart Logistics.'

At the conference, Jung Young-doo, Head of ESG Management Office at Korea Maritime Promotion Corporation, gave a keynote speech on the topic of 'Shipping Market Trends and Prospects,' and thematic presentations were conducted in three divisions.

A total of 20 topics were presented, including 4 from the Dong-Eui University Creative Trade Marine Management Convergence Research Institute and 4 from the Chung-Ang University 4th Phase BK21 Project for Training Innovative Trade Logistics Personnel in the Era of Digital Transformation.

The Korea International Commerce Association held an award ceremony for international commerce professionals on the 22nd, selecting Park Bu-taek, CEO of Geumgang Logistics, in the corporate category, and Shin Jeong-hwan, a customs broker from Shin Jeong-hwan Customs Office, in the individual category, both receiving the grand prize.
