[Asia Economy Reporter Minyoung Cha] KT announced on the 25th that it will launch a 'Gift Sending' service on 'K-Deal,' a text commerce platform based on AI big data.


K-Deal is a platform that analyzes big data based on KT's telecommunications data to offer personalized products at special prices. AI selects special price information on products matching customers' interests and delivers it via text messages. Customers who use KT's telecommunication services and agree to the use of personal information for personalized commerce can use K-Deal.


The Gift Sending feature is a service designed to easily convey gratitude by simply entering the phone number of the person you want to send a gift to after purchasing a product, in celebration of Family Month. To commemorate the launch, customers who use the Gift Sending service until May 15 will receive discount coupons and Starbucks coffee coupons 100%. Additionally, prizes such as gift certificates, robot vacuum cleaners, and massage chairs will be provided through a raffle.


Meanwhile, to celebrate Family Month, K-Deal has been holding a May special exhibition since the 18th, offering personalized products such as health foods, supplements, and health care appliances at special prices along with discount coupons. Also, since the 13th, the 'Happy Deal' service has been available to all 'Daily Pick' customers who receive daily special product information via text messages. Happy Deal is a prize service that can only be entered on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays each week.
