SBI Savings Bank Raises Fixed Deposit Interest Rate by 0.15 Percentage Points

[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] SBI Savings Bank raised its fixed deposit interest rate by 0.15 percentage points on the 25th.

The target includes fixed deposits sold at SBI Savings Bank branches, internet banking, and Saida Bank. With this measure, the compound interest fixed deposit (variable interest rate) at Saida Bank increased to a maximum of 2.85%.

An SBI Savings Bank official said, "We have enhanced our deposit competitiveness through the increase in fixed deposit interest rates," and added, "We expect it to contribute to attracting new customers as well."
