[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Seok-jin, Legal Affairs Specialist] On the 25th, Prosecutor General Kim Oh-soo commented on the ruling and opposition parties' agreement on Speaker Park Byeong-seok's 'complete prosecution reform' mediation plan, stating, "This Special Committee on Criminal Procedure Reform is concluding with the establishment of the Central Investigation Agency linked to the complete prosecution reform." He added, "This Special Committee, which follows a 'conclusion first, discussion later' approach, reverses the proper order and is completely different from the 'discussion first, conclusion later' approach that the Supreme Prosecutors' Office had proposed."
