On the 25th (Korean time), the American magazine People reported, "Johnson and Gretsky held their wedding at a luxury resort hotel near Nashville, Tennessee." The wedding was attended only by a few invited guests, and the detailed proceedings were kept secret. Gretsky revealed on her social media a love confession letter Johnson sent just before the wedding. Johnson wrote, "Polina, you are the one and only love of my life. I am counting down the days until we get married."

Johnson is a player who has won 24 times on the U.S. Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) Tour. Notably, he won the major US Open in 2016 and the Masters in 2020. He dominated the tour by holding the 'Number 1' position for an impressive 135 weeks with his powerful long drives. After getting engaged to Gretsky in 2013, Johnson lived with her and raised their two sons, aged 7 and 4. Gretsky is the daughter of Wayne Gretsky, who had a legendary career in the North American Ice Hockey League (NHL).
