"Collaboration with Haesubu" Fresh Easy launches meal kit 'Gamtai Oil Pasta'

[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Eun-mo] Fresh Easy, a home meal replacement (HMR) specialist company, announced on the 25th that it has launched a new seafood village meal kit called 'Gamtai Oil Pasta' in collaboration with the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries.

The seafood village meal kit is a win-win cooperation project that develops convenient meals using local fishing village specialties to support fishermen in creating new sources of income. It is the third product following the 'Pen Shell Scallop Risotto' from Boryeong, Chungnam, and the 'Maesaengi Oyster Kalguksu' from Tongyeong, Gyeongnam, which were released last month.

The newly launched Gamtai Oil Pasta uses gamtai harvested from the coastal area of Jungang-ri, Seosan-si, Chungnam as the main ingredient. Fresh Easy explained that it allows consumers to fully enjoy various vegetables, the unique umami flavor of gamtai filled with the scent of the sea, and its soft texture.
