Operation of Broadcasting and Video Content Education Program by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism

"Over 80% of Graduates Employed Annually"

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Drama Producers Association announced on the 25th that they will jointly operate the K-Global Broadcasting and Video Content Training Program. Sixty trainees who passed the document and interview screening will receive expert lectures and planning and production practice for seven months. They will have the opportunity to learn vivid production know-how from producers such as Lee Hae-in, executive producer of "Monster," Kim Un-young, executive producer of "Annarasumanara," Kim Yeon-seong, Vice President of WeMade for "The Red Sleeve Cuff," and Jo Gun-won, production director of "Vincenzo." Trainees will also gain practical experience by being deployed to actual production sites. A Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism official stated, "More than 80% of graduates have been employed each year," adding, "We aim to nurture talent with both expertise and field experience to strengthen the competitiveness of Hallyu content." The ministry will also run capacity-building courses for current employees and specialized courses for online video service (OTT) content.
