[Asia Economy Reporters Kim Hyemin and Moon Jewon] President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol will visit the headquarters of SK Bioscience on the morning of the 25th to encourage the developers of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Baek Hyunjin, spokesperson for the president-elect, held a regular briefing at the transition office in Tongui-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, on the same morning and stated, "President-elect Yoon will visit the headquarters of SK Bioscience located in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province." Last September, President-elect Yoon also visited the SK Bioscience production plant located in Andong, Gyeongbuk.

Spokesperson Baek said, "President-elect Yoon plans to tour the site of the first domestically developed vaccine and encourage the developers who are working with a sense of mission to secure vaccine sovereignty." He added, "The newly inaugurated Yoon Seok-yeol administration will take a deep interest in and do its best in all matters related to protecting the lives and safety of the people."
