[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Dongwon Group is recruiting internship positions linked to employment for the first half of 2022.
On the 25th, Dongwon Group announced that it is recruiting interns in various fields such as sales, production, research, and IT at eight major affiliates including Dongwon Industries, Dongwon Loex, Dongwon F&B, Dongwon Dear Food, Dongwon Home Food, Dongwon Systems, and Dongwon Enterprises until May 9th next month. The recruitment scale is about 400 people.
Dongwon Group has recently strengthened its new business competitiveness through the secondary battery materials business and is promoting various advanced businesses such as establishing smart factory systems across all affiliates. To this end, the recruitment quota in related fields has been significantly expanded.
This recruitment targets university graduates and those expected to graduate in August 2022 and proceeds in the order of ▲document screening ▲online written test ▲first interview ▲internship screening ▲final interview. Applications are accepted until the 9th of next month and can be submitted through company-specific announcements on the Dongwon Group recruitment website.
The internship will be conducted for about eight weeks starting from mid-June, during which interns will engage in various activities to enhance job expertise, such as professional job training and performing on-site projects. Through this, the on-site departments will comprehensively review the interns' job competencies, organizational fit, and growth potential, select candidates for recruitment interviews, and make the final decision on regular employment after executive interviews.
A Dongwon Group official said, “We will provide feedback from on-site experts as well as various online learning opportunities so that interns can grow into experts in their respective job fields,” adding, “We will continue to contribute to youth job creation and fulfill corporate social responsibility.”
Meanwhile, Dongwon Group operates various employee welfare programs such as welfare point payments, congratulatory and condolence expenses, annual book allowances, child tuition support, refresh leave, and an in-house daycare center.
