[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (Minister Kwon Chil-seung, hereinafter referred to as the Ministry) and the Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kim Hak-do, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the 25th that they are recruiting companies for the second round of the Export Voucher Program.

The Export Voucher Program provides vouchers composed of government subsidies and company contributions in the form of online points, allowing companies to freely select from over 7,000 services and utilize them in a customized manner.

In the second recruitment, about 570 companies will be selected and will be able to use the export voucher services starting in July. Depending on the export scale of the previous year, government subsidies ranging from 30 million KRW to a maximum of 100 million KRW will be provided. Selected companies can freely choose and use desired services from a total of 13 service menus, including design development, overseas certification, and patents.

In particular, a dedicated recruitment track has been newly established for small and medium enterprises affected by direct exports to Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus, which accounted for more than 30% of total direct export performance last year, providing support of up to 30 million KRW.

Applications can be submitted online on the Export Voucher website until the 10th of next month. Chairman Kim Hak-do said, "Following the record high SME exports last year, the first quarter of this year also achieved a record high of 30.4 billion USD," adding, "Through the Export Voucher Program, SBC will provide necessary services in a timely manner to contribute to the continuous export performance of SMEs."
