On the 25th, Hyundai Doosan Infracore announced that President Cho Young-chul visited the partner company 'Steel' located in Bukhang, Seo-gu, Incheon on the 22nd to conduct a safety inspection. President Cho toured the factory in person, checked the work environment, various safety facilities and equipment, and listened to the difficulties faced by on-site workers related to safety activities.
At the meeting, President Cho heard investment plans from the partner company representatives and promised, "We will actively prepare win-win growth measures to strengthen partner companies' competitiveness and expand business, including support for preventing safety accidents and improving product quality."
Hyundai Doosan Infracore also held a series of events including 'Safety Day,' which reviews the company's overall safety activities with the participation of employees, labor unions, and partner company representatives, as well as a safety pledge meeting. Marking its 9th year, the 'Safety Day' event was held to raise awareness of accident prevention by checking the company's safety status in line with the enforcement of the Serious Accident Punishment Act, and to establish a safety culture within the company by sharing excellent cases of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) activities.
An awards ceremony was held for 64 groups that demonstrated outstanding EHS activities over the past year, and case presentations were made by groups selected for safety awards who created response guidelines and work manuals tailored to site characteristics in case of fire. The event concluded with all attendees reading the safety pledge aloud and chanting safety slogans to reaffirm their commitment to preventing serious accidents and achieving zero accidents.
Yoo Jun-mo, chairman of the Hyundai Doosan Infracore labor union, said, "A change in awareness prioritizing safety above all must come first for all employees," adding, "Since there is no separation between labor and management in preventing safety accidents, we will do our best to create a zero-accident workplace by jointly blocking risk factors in advance."
