[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] The reorganization and personnel appointments of the presidential office under President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol have been somewhat delayed.

On the morning of the 24th, Bae Hyun-jin, spokesperson for the president-elect, held a briefing at the Presidential Transition Committee office in Tongui-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, stating, "There is no plan to announce anything today regarding the reorganization of the presidential office."

Spokesperson Bae explained, "The reorganization and personnel appointments of the Blue House reflect the president-elect's intention to create the most efficient and capable government," adding, "We are carefully considering it and will strive to present the most competent government."

Earlier, it was expected that the inaugural presidential office structure and appointments of the new administration would be announced as early as today. However, it is interpreted that President-elect Yoon postponed the announcement to ensure careful personnel selection.

It is known that a streamlined reorganization, including two offices (Chief of Staff and National Security Office Chief), five senior secretaries (Economy, Social Affairs, Political Affairs, Public Relations, Civil Society), and one planning officer, is being strongly considered.
