[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] A six-vehicle pileup occurred on a six-lane road in front of Gwangjin Police Station in Seoul, resulting in three people being transported to the hospital.
According to the fire authorities, at around 11:48 a.m. on the 23rd, a Gwangjin 03 village bus and a truck traveling toward Jamsil Bridge collided on Jayang-ro 164-gil in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.
Subsequently, other vehicles including a taxi also crashed into the accident vehicles, leading to a six-vehicle pileup.
As a result of the accident, three people?the taxi driver, a passenger, and the bus driver?were injured and transported to a nearby hospital.
The police plan to investigate the detailed circumstances of the accident by analyzing vehicle black boxes and nearby CCTV footage.
