원본보기 아이콘[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] On Friday the 22nd, occasional rain is expected from morning to late afternoon in the Seoul metropolitan area, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, and northern Chungbuk. Since the precipitation amount will be around 5mm, the air will remain dry.
Strong winds with speeds of 35 to 60 km/h are expected from the night of the 21st to the early morning of the 22nd in the Yeongdong area of Gangwon, northeastern mountainous areas of Gyeongbuk, and the northern east coast of Gyeongbuk.
Currently, a strong wind advisory has been issued for the central and northern mountainous areas of Gangwon, and a preliminary strong wind warning has been issued for the plains of Gangneung, Donghae, Taebaek, Samcheok, Sokcho, Goseong, Yangyang, Jeongseon, the southern mountainous areas of Gangwon, and the plains of Yeongdeok, Uljin, and northeastern mountainous areas of Gyeongbuk.
Other regions will also experience strong winds with gusts around 55 km/h.
The lowest temperatures on the morning of the 22nd are expected to be between 5 and 15 degrees Celsius, and the highest temperatures during the day are expected to range from 16 to 30 degrees Celsius.
The daytime temperature in Pohang, Gyeongbuk, is forecast to rise up to 30 degrees Celsius.
Expected low and high temperatures in major cities are Seoul 13°C and 19°C, Incheon 13°C and 16°C, Daejeon 11°C and 23°C, Gwangju 11°C and 25°C, Daegu 10°C and 29°C, Ulsan 11°C and 25°C, and Busan 12°C and 21°C.
