[Suncheon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] The Suncheon Cultural Foundation announced on the 21st that it will publicly recruit instructors to operate the first half of this year's 'Mannal Lecture' until the 27th to encourage and support citizens' daily cultural and artistic activities.

This first half aims to recruit instructors for 12 courses in music (singing, instruments, Korean traditional music, etc.), art (painting, crafts, calligraphy, etc.), dance (gymnastics, dance, etc.), and others (humanities lectures, wine tasting classes, movies and masterpieces, magic lectures, etc.) based on basic education necessary for daily life to encourage participation from residents of the original downtown area.

However, due to biennial operation, instructors active this year cannot apply next year.

Applicants wishing to participate can download the application form from the notice section on the Suncheon Cultural Foundation website, fill it out, and apply via email.

The final selected instructors are scheduled to conduct lectures from May to August.

A representative of the Suncheon Cultural Foundation said, "This year, we hope that not only participation in the Mannal Lecture program but also various cultural and artistic activities utilizing leisure time will bring vitality to Suncheon citizens," adding, "We ask for the interest and participation of passionate and skilled instructors."

Meanwhile, the citizen cultural and artistic education program 'Mannal Lecture' has been operated since 2018 as a flagship program of Yeongdong 1st Street, running an arts education program that connects artists and citizens through public recruitment of citizen-targeted programs.
