[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] The ecological children's playground in Naman New Town, created by Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do, is gaining great popularity among local residents and children.

The county invested 300 million won near Kim Dae-jung Square, a frequently used area by residents, to complete the Naman ecological children's playground in December last year and opened it to local residents and children.

The ecological children's playground is an eco-cultural play space created using various nature-friendly elements and materials in urban areas lacking play spaces, consisting of eight types of play facilities such as a sand playground, slide, and seesaw.

In particular, the trampoline among the play facilities is attracting many visitors not only from Muan but also from neighboring areas, gaining great popularity.

Kang Geon-seon, head of the New Town Support Group, said, "Since this is a space used by children, we ask that quarantine guidelines and safety instructions be strictly followed when using the playground."

Meanwhile, Muan-gun is promoting various projects such as the creation of a fine dust blocking forest in residential areas and the Naman Modunuri Open Forest project to create a pleasant eco-friendly ecological city where people and nature live in harmony.
