[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Cheongho Nice announced on the 21st that it will introduce 'Jamaica Blue Mountain 100%', known as one of the world's top three coffees. It is a capsule coffee exclusively for the ice-dispensing coffee machine 'Cheongho Esprecafe'.


Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee is widely known as the British royal coffee and is one of the most expensive coffees sold worldwide due to its rarity. The Blue Mountain coffee released by Cheongho Nice this time has been issued a 100% authentic certificate from Jamaica, the coffee's origin, and the manufacturer 'Jimoca'.


The ice-dispensing coffee machine 'Esprecafe' is a product launched by Cheongho Nice in July 2014, combining an ice water purifier and a capsule coffee machine. A total of eight lineup products have been released, with cumulative sales exceeding 140,000 units.


Cheongho Nice plans to make 'Esprecafe' another hit product like the ice water purifier. In November last year, the company also established a coffee business division to expand its coffee-related business base. After the establishment of the coffee business division, product sales increased, with sales in the first quarter of this year rising more than 255% compared to the previous year.


Won Gwang-jik, Chief Marketing Officer of Cheongho Nice, said, "This year, to achieve the goal of doubling Esprecafe product sales compared to last year, we plan to launch premium coffee and carry out various promotional activities."
