Jeil Health Science Launches Renewed Step-by-Step Wound Care 'Hydrocare Band S'

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwanju] Jeil Health Science announced on the 21st that it has renewed and launched the hydrocolloid dressing band 'Hydrocare Band S' that can manage wounds from the initial stage to the recovery stage.

The Hydrocare Band S consists of two bands with different thicknesses. For initial wounds with a lot of exudate, it uses a 0.5mm thick band, and for wounds in the recovery stage, it uses a thin 0.3mm band that allows easy movement, enabling step-by-step wound management.

The Hydrocare Band S, mainly composed of hydrocolloid, absorbs exudate discharged from the wound and creates an optimal moist environment at the wound site to promote smooth cell growth and prevent scarring. It contains disinfectant ingredients, providing disinfection effects and preventing infection at the wound site.

Mok Seonjae, PM of the Marketing Department at Jeil Health Science, said, "The renewed ‘Hydrocare Band S’ has excellent adhesion and a water-resistant function, protecting wounds from water and bacteria," adding, "It allows daily activities without discomfort even while attached."
