Biden Scheduled to Attend White House Correspondents' Dinner at the End of This Month

The White House Correspondents' Association (WHCA) stated in a press release on the 20th (local time), "Since Calvin Coolidge, all presidents except one (former President Donald Trump) have attended the annual dinner hosted by the correspondents," confirming this.

Traditionally held on the last Sunday of April each year, the dinner was not held in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. President Biden did not attend the 'Gridiron' journalists' club dinner event, which resumed earlier this month after three years, and only sent a video message.

Meanwhile, former President Trump, Biden's predecessor, consistently did not attend the White House Correspondents' Dinner during his tenure.
