DA Technology Partners with LG Electronics Production Technology Institute... "Will Continue Win-Win Cooperation"

DA Technology, a specialized company in secondary batteries and semiconductor equipment (CEO Lee Jongwook), announced on the 20th that it has signed a business agreement with LG Electronics Production Technology Institute (Director Jeong Daehwa, Vice President) to undertake collaborative projects for joint equipment development. This agreement was made at the signing ceremony of the LG Electronics Production Technology Institute Cooperation Project Partnership (hereinafter ‘POPA’).

POPA is a new win-win program for partner companies by LG Electronics Production Technology Institute, designed to support stable project execution by partner companies and a long-term supply contract program to strengthen equipment competitiveness and promote mutual growth.

Through this agreement, synergy can be created by combining the leading and differentiated new technology development of LG Electronics Production Technology Institute with DA Technology’s technology implementation design and manufacturing technology. A company official stated, “We expect effects such as securing stable sales channels, reducing production costs, preemptive preparation for new technologies based on the technology roadmap, and capability enhancement through technical collaboration,” adding, “The new equipment can be supplied to related companies such as LG Energy Solution, and the volume is expected to gradually increase.”

LG Electronics Production Technology Institute carries out equipment localization and new production technology development to enhance LG Group’s production technology capabilities, and based on the secured technology, it also supplies some equipment to industries such as display and semiconductors.

An official from LG Electronics Production Technology Institute said, “We plan to support related technologies and investment information so that DA Technology can smoothly carry out the cooperative projects, and we will operate to maximize win-win cooperation through the differentiated technical support of LG Electronics Production Technology Institute combined with the technology and know-how possessed by DA Technology.”

Lee Jongwook, CEO of DA Technology, said, “With this business agreement, we will be able to continuously develop new equipment based on the technology and equipment competitiveness we have accumulated over a long time,” and added, “We will continue sustainable mutual growth and win-win cooperation with LG Electronics Production Technology Institute.”
